Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assemble products and sub-assemblies according to specifications and procedures.
• Ensure that all products and sub-assemblies meet quality standards.
• Build wooden crates for packaging products and sub-assemblies using appropriate materials, tools, and methods.
• Install, mount, fasten, and adjust parts, components, wiring, and harnesses to build assemblies using hand-held power tools.
• Label and organize packages for easy identification.
• Receiving shipments and packaging materials and place in designated storage zones.
• Move finished goods and raw materials between different inventory zones.
• Package and handle custom projects and palletized shipments.
• Meet daily production goals and deadlines for product and other miscellaneous tasks.
• Report any issues or problems with products or equipment to the supervisor.
• Assist with 5S activities to maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform inventory cycle counts as directed.
• Support the Process and Quality team with miscellaneous duties as directed.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing, construction, or warehouse environment.
• Hands on manufacturing skills such use of power tools required.
• Experience in woodworking will be an asset.
• Experience in material handling using a pallet jack will be an asset.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds or more.
• Understands safety regulations and applies them daily.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Good working attitude and works well as a team member.
