Responsibilities:
- Sales Support: Partner with the outside sales team to maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads and projects by: Following up on inbound leads. Executing outbound lead-generation campaigns via cold calls and emails. Managing lead follow-ups effectively.
- Quoting & Customer Proposals: Create accurate and timely quotes for Manufacturing Representatives/Distributors in the specification channel, as well as for direct sales clients.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with the Design, Engineering, and Operations teams to evaluate technical feasibility, manufacturing requirements, and cost estimates for customer requests.
- Customer Liaison: Serve as the key point of contact between customers and internal teams, ensuring smooth order intake and fulfillment processes.
- Product Availability & Lead Times: Provide customers with precise information regarding product availability and lead times.
- Transaction Management: Handle customer orders, returns, and related transactions efficiently.
- Data Accuracy: Monitor and maintain accurate sales pipeline data and CRM records, ensuring seamless lead and opportunity management.
- Operational Coordination: Work with the planning team to prioritize order fulfillment, update forecasts, and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong customer relationships to foster business growth and loyalty.
- Complaint Resolution: Address customer complaints promptly and proactively to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Sales Support Activities: Support outside sales initiatives as needed, including customer site visits and installation support.
- Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned to meet team and company objectives.
Requirements:
- Education: University degree or college diploma in Business, Sales, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a B2B environment, preferably in customer service, design, construction, or materials.
- Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to identify customer needs and resolve issues effectively.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM software (NetSuite experience preferred) and strong computer skills.
- Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with excellent organizational skills and a problem-solving attitude.
