Occupying 1.2 million square feet of retail space, The Great Mall of Milpitas, represents one of the largest shopping outlets and entertainment destinations in Northern California.  With 14 anchor tenants and over 200 in-line shops, these large mall complexes incorporate a mix of different lighting applications to provide not only visual wayfinding cues but also delineate spaces by creating open rest-areas leading to core tenants.  Situated near the entrance of Uniqlo, an array of “faux skylights” paired with Cooledge LINE in the ceiling brings the many holistic benefits of diffused natural light into an otherwise enclosed space – creating a welcome respite for shoppers to relax and linger in the lounge area below.
