The inspiration behind the interior design for Taser was to communicate to employees that they are essential to a company’s innovation and invention by keeping them inspired and connected through the aesthetic and functional design of the workplace environment.
From the moment one approaches the Taser office, innovation is evident everywhere – from the design of meeting rooms and private workspaces, to the detailing of the furniture and fixtures – every element of the interior supports an integrated concept. The curvature of surfaces, applied graphics and lighting solutions, all work seamlessly together.
Over 175 feet of Cooledge’s LINE was chosen for perimeter and cove lighting throughout the 9,100 square foot space. LINE is an efficient solution that’s rugged, requires no thermal heat-management, and can be applied to virtually any surface. LINE needs only 2-4 inches of setback to provide a uniform and seamlessly illuminated surface. It is also adaptable in the field; It may be cut to any length on-site so adjustments can be easily made, eliminating waste and allowing for precision fit and effects.
LINE provides exactly the kind of illumination that is subtle in some locations, but is also featured proudly in other locations. This combination of contrasting treatments is in part what makes the design so effective.
