833 Chestnut Street is a 12-story high rise building comprised of 705,061 square feet. Designed by Graham, Anderson, Probst & White, the building was completed in 1928 as home to the Gimbel Bros. department store. A renovation project to the Class A property included modern luminous surface lighting that brings a bright yet glare-free environment to the lobby and elevator bank areas. The enhanced appearance is well suited to the medical offices that now comprise the majority of the space within the building.
