The appearance of a full luminous ceiling is accomplished with the use of adjacent recessed Cooledge acoustic luminaires. The effect transforms the lobby atrium of this corporate office by bringing the feeling of the outdoors to the interior space and increases comfort with flicker-free immersive illumination and a significant reduction in ambient noise.
