VANCOUVER, CANADA, June 8, 2015 – Cooledge Lighting, the leading developer of flat and flexible LED lighting solutions, received the ‘Emerging Company of the Year’ award from the BC Technology Industry Association (BCTIA) last week. The award recognizes companies that demonstrate outstanding performance as a technology enterprise and that have growing revenues and a business plan that positions the company for leadership in its industry.

“I am proud to be associated with an extremely talented team here in British Columbia that shares a vision of how to develop technology and bring it to market in such a way that the company can be successful through shaping the way architects, builders and designers look at and use the latest technologies in lighting,” said Wade Sheen, CEO of Cooledge.

This is the company’s second award from the BCTIA. In 2014, Cooledge was recognized with a Technology Impact Award for ‘Excellence in Product Innovation’ acknowledging the company’s unique solution and advancement of LED lighting technology.
